Nicknamed “The Cauldron”, Suncorp Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, located in the suburb of Milton. The facility comprises a three-tiered rectangular sporting stadium with a capacity of 52,500 people and is home to the NRL team, Brisbane Broncos.
The Emerald Lounge is an exclusive area within the stadium known for its luxurious ambiance and premium amenities. Rapid LED’s products were chosen to enhance the atmosphere, providing both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The 2600m2 refurbishment and fit-out was completed in time for the 2024 season and plays host to some of QLD’s biggest events.
CU2 Electrical met the design brief of sleek and modern lighting products that complement the lounge’s decor, while achieving customisable lighting effects to set different moods throughout the day or during special events. Rapid LED were proud to partner with Mark and his team from CU2 Electrical with the supply of hundreds of metres of LED Strip for various applications within the establishment. Countless metres of RGBW LED Strip feature across the ceilings and throughout the curved architraves providing artistic ambience at the flick of a switch, whilst the ever popular BONDI Architectural COB LED Downlight provides a low-glare mood lighting in the designated dining and bar areas.
The product quality, installation and ability to meet and exceed customer expectations are evident in the finished project and a testament to all involved.
