150 George Street is a cutting-edge 22,000sqm 21-story office tower that has undergone a complete $30m refurbishment and building upgrade. Prominently located on the corner of George and Charles Streets in Parramatta, NSW the building features hotel-style architecture and high-end finishes throughout the entire property.
PELS Electrical were assigned the lighting and electrical works and engaged Rapid LED to provide an alternative lighting package that would meet the various requirements of the project. PELS collaborated closely with project managers at ID Fitouts to ensure that every detail was executed perfectly.
Top Bend Rapid NeoFlex flexible LED Strip Lighting was meticulously recessed along curved archways, walkways and into ceiling pelmets. The flexibility of the clear silicone housing and the flat-edge omitting surface gives the product the ability to bend without impeding the LED output, providing versatility in creating stunning illumination designs.
Rapidline Linear Lighting profile was used as a recessed option throughout the architectural ceiling spaces ensuring the streamline design was considered and incorporated throughout every element.
3000k warm white LED Strip also featured heavily throughout the work spaces to allow an ambient lighting opportunity to co-exist with the higher output 4000k cool white surface mount Downlights that were creatively suspended in some areas to allow continuity through the spaces.
